The Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club is a football club based in Wolverhampton, England, and is also called the Wolves for short.

It was founded in 1877 under the name St. Luke's and two years later merged with the local sports club The Wanderers to become what is now Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
